Import coordination for B2B buyers

Importing goods for a business is rarely just a purchase. Someone has to find a supplier who can actually produce to your specification, agree commercial terms that match the shipping method, line up the documents the destination customs authority expects, and keep every party working to the same timetable. GOLDVESTRA, based in Business Bay, Dubai, coordinates that chain for buyers who would rather brief one team than manage a dozen counterparties.

Our import work sits inside our wider import and export coordination service and uses the same global sourcing process: we assess your requirement, identify and screen suppliers in the origin market, prepare a commercial proposal and coordinate the trade steps through to delivery and settlement. We are a sourcing and coordination partner, not an online store, so there is no catalog to order from. Every engagement starts with a quote request, and where freight, customs clearance or inspection are needed we work with licensed third-party partners, where legally permissible.

Origin markets we assess

Each origin has its own strengths, paperwork and risks. Open a page below for the detail, or send us your requirement and we will recommend where it is best sourced.

Import from the UAE

Dubai’s re-export ecosystem: broad product availability, free-zone logistics and consolidation of mixed orders.

Import from China

Manufacturing depth in electronics, machinery, hardware and materials, with factory-direct and trading-company options.

Import from Turkey

Textiles, furniture, building materials and automotive parts, close to Middle Eastern, Caucasus and European markets.

Import from Europe

Specialist equipment, components and branded products where specification, certification and authenticity matter.

Import from India

Engineering goods, textiles, chemicals and agricultural products from a wide and varied supplier base.

Import from Oman

A neighboring Gulf origin with ports at Sohar and Salalah and a land border with the UAE, useful for regional supply.

Where the goods are going

Our origin pages describe where goods are sourced. Destinations are wherever the buyer is. The importer of record’s country decides which licenses, standards, duties and restrictions apply, and those rules, not the origin’s, are what a shipment has to satisfy on arrival.

We maintain a dedicated page for importing to Iran, because it comes with its own regulatory, licensing and payment considerations. Any request involving a destination that is subject to sanctions or trade restrictions is assessed case by case and is taken forward only where it is legally permissible.

At a glance

  • Who the importer of record is, and whether it holds the registrations the destination requires
  • HS classification and the resulting duty and tax treatment
  • Import permits, product standards and labeling rules
  • Sanctions, export-control and end-use screening
  • Payment channels and currency rules

How an import request moves through GOLDVESTRA

The same five stages apply to every origin; what changes is the detail inside each one.

Submit Requirements

Describe the product, specification, quantities, destination and target delivery window through the quote form.

Sourcing Assessment

We assess feasibility, identify and screen suppliers in the best-fit origin and flag regulatory or sanctions questions early.

Commercial Proposal

You receive supplier options, proposed commercial terms, Incoterms and a clear view of what drives landed cost.

Trade Coordination

We coordinate the order, documents and logistics with suppliers and licensed partners such as forwarders, customs brokers and inspection companies.

Delivery & Settlement

We follow the shipment through to handover under the agreed terms and coordinate settlement as set out in the proposal.

Choosing the right origin

Buyers often start with a country and end up with a better answer once the requirement is clear. Existing stock and mixed lots favor the UAE’s re-export market; manufacturing depth and customization favor China; proximity and a strong base in textiles, furniture and construction goods favor Turkey; specialist or heavily regulated products often point to Europe.

The number to compare is landed cost, meaning the goods plus freight, insurance, duties, taxes, inspection and local handling, not the ex-works price. Our guide to import cost factors explains the components, and the Incoterms guide for importers shows how cost and responsibility move between buyer and seller.

What to include in your request

The more specific the brief, the faster the sourcing assessment. Send what you have; we will ask for the rest.

  • Product description, specification and required quality level
  • HS code, if you have one (we can help confirm it)
  • Quantity per order and expected recurring volume
  • Destination country, port or city, and who will act as importer of record
  • Preferred Incoterms and shipping mode, if any
  • Target delivery window and any hard deadlines
  • Certificates, samples or test reports you require
  • Target price range and payment terms you can offer

Compliance and responsibility

GOLDVESTRA assesses, sources and coordinates. Freight forwarding, customs clearance and inspection are carried out by licensed partners where legally permissible, and the importer of record remains responsible for the declarations, licenses, duties and taxes of the destination country. Every engagement is subject to applicable regulations, sanctions and licensing requirements, and we may decline or pause a request that cannot be handled lawfully. Nothing on this page is legal, customs or tax advice.

Import services: frequently asked questions

Does GOLDVESTRA sell products directly?

No. GOLDVESTRA is a sourcing and trade coordination company, not an online store. We identify suppliers, prepare a commercial proposal and coordinate the transaction between you and the supplier on the terms set out in that proposal.

Which origin countries can you source from?

We assess requests from the UAE, China, Turkey, Europe, India and Oman, and will consider other origins on request. Whether a specific route is workable depends on the product, the destination and applicable regulations and sanctions.

Can you import to a country other than the UAE?

Destinations are wherever you are based, subject to that country’s rules and to sanctions and licensing requirements. Our page on importing to Iran is an example of a destination with its own specific considerations.

Do you handle shipping and customs clearance?

We coordinate them. Freight and clearance themselves are performed by licensed forwarders and customs brokers, where legally permissible, and the importer of record stays responsible for the declaration.

How do I get started?

Use the request a quote form with your product details, quantities and destination. A sourcing assessment comes first, and a commercial proposal follows once suitable suppliers have been identified.
